Poor Frank caught the wrong end of the stick today! 🐾

After playing with a stick in the garden, Frank appeared distressed and started pawing at his muzzle. His owner noticed a broken piece of stick had become lodged in the roof of his mouth😬 Frank was taken straight into the practice where he was sedated and the culprit was removed. 💙 He was a very brave boy!

💭Did you know that sticks are a common cause injuries in dogs? Fortunately this stick was soft and unlikely to have splintered but sometimes they can cause more trouble!!

Flash forward a few weeks ! Teddy popped back in to use our scales today ⚖️ after an adventure into the big wide world on his lead 🌎 He was such a good boy and very much enjoyed his treats 🦴 It was tricky taking a photo because that tail was working overtime! Isn’t he gorgeous!! 🐾

Please feel free to pop in any time to use our scales ⚖️ We encourage four legged visitors as it’s a perfect opportunity for them come in for a fuss and a treat without needing any treatment 🐾This means when your pet does need treatment, they are comfortable with us treating them. ❤️

💭Did you know that there is an alternative to surgical castration? 💭 A few weeks ago Dobby had an implant inserted 💉 An implant can last either 6 or 12months and is therefore reversible. It has worked really well for Dobby 💙
