Night Veterinary Surgeon

PetA&E - Inpatient and ECC Vets - Barnsley, South Yorkshire

My Client are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon who thrives in the fast-paced world of ECC and are excited to be part of their night service at their Barnsley Hospital.

Barnsley, clinic features 10 modern consulting rooms and four theatres, complete with X-ray and dental suites.

Dedicated to the well-being of their furry friends, they boast a separate dog and cat ward. Their caseload is as diverse as it gets, ranging from surgical and medical cases to in-house orthopaedic procedures.

They have recently introduced nurse-led care during the night. This ensures that their patients, in stable conditions, experience a comfortable and monitored recovery overnight in their kennels.

Rota:

7:14 rota - Allowing for a great work life balance (28hrs/week Average)

My Client are looking for a Head Vet to lead their fabulous team in Lincoln! This is a fantastic opportunity to spearhead the continuous improvement of their clinical standards and services and to upskill colleagues to support them in their aim of being a centre of clinical excellence.

Their new Head Vet will be a key member of our surgery’s management team. Their looking for someone with a high level of clinical expertise who is passionate about delivering outstanding care. Their ideal candidate will be comfortable in a leadership role with the drive and passion to deliver against a strategic vision, coaching and inspiring their team to consistently deliver gold standard, evidence-based care.

Their Vet salaries can be negotiable, depending on experience. The required working pattern is 4 days a week with 1:4 weekends. No OOH but they do need their Head Vet to be on call if they have any overnight inpatients.
