o our Emergency Service, which is dedicated to providing round-the-clock care for Donaldson’s patients. A dedicated team of Vets and Nurses manage the most critically ill patients from across the Donaldson’s group in our Intensive Care Ward where each animal's temperature, ventilation, lighting, and oxygen concentration can be controlled. With separate cat and dog waiting areas, we strive to ensure that your pet's visit is as stress-free as possible. The separate cat and dog wards are specifically designed to ensure your pet's stay with us is as comfortable as possible. With a large prep room and 5 High Sterility Operating theatres with HEPA-filtered air supply, our facilities are suitable to carry out some of the most complex surgical procedures. A state-of-the art Diagnostic Imaging suite contains advanced digital X-ray and ultrasound equipment and a 64-slice human-grade CT scanner. The advanced diagnostic capabilities of the CT scanner are backed up by a visiting MRI scanner enabling complex brain and spinal imaging to be undertaken. Our on-site dental suite has equipment for descaling, polishing, or extracting your pet's teeth. A specialist dental X-ray machine allows us to accurately assess the roots of the teeth. Somerset Road is the base from which our Farm and Equine vets operate, and we have a dedicated area of the building for the care of small ruminants.
