Today’s afternoon group entertained my great idea of doing a slo-mo through a puddle. Arlo understood the assignment unlike Bee who spooked herself 😂

Lots of towelling and rinsing before these guys go home 🫣

I can’t think of a better way to spend my birthday than with my pack in the sunshine ☀️

Thank you Arlo, Bear, Minnie, Joey, Nessie, Bee, Poppy, Cleo, Winnie, Lyla, Ocean and little Arlo for making yesterday so special and being on best behaviour. Days like yesterday remind me that I have the best job in the world and I’m so lucky to have such incredible dogs by my side 🐾

Well the day finally came that I’ve dreaded for almost a month now, my boys have moved 😭

As most of you will know, chino has been around since even before I committed to starting Annie’s Ark, and to be honest he was the reason I did. I fell in love with Chino from the moment I met him, we formed an instant bond and we’ve shared some very special memories.

He’s been a huge part of Bobby growing up, always showing his gentle personality and offering a shoulder to lean on (literally when Bobby was learning to walk). He’s watched Joey, Nessie and Bee grow from tiny puppies to adults, he’s helped numerous dogs overcome their fear of German shepherd’s and more than anything he’s filled my heart to the brim with love.

Then came along Otto, who from the get go has always been special. His owner once said “he’s a sandwich short of a picnic” and honestly if that doesn’t describe him perfectly I don’t know what does. He’s the sweetest, most easy going boy with a heart of gold. He solidified his spot in the cocker trio and never missed an opportunity to try keep up with Joey playing fetch.

Im ugly crying now looking back at just a fraction of memories we share and wish we could do it all over again.

In this job it’s so hard for me to only see it as work. I love each and every one of my clients and their dogs. People who have been in this industry for a long time will tell you not to get too attached but I just cant help it.

It’s absolutely floored me saying goodbye, and I truly hope this isn’t goodbye forever.

Hmmm do you think Arlo’s owner would notice if I kidnapped him ….
I just absolutely adore everything about this special boy.
From solo dog to my most trusted group dog, he’s now upgraded again to my “trial team” along with Nessie and Bee, who will be used to test and introduce new dogs into pack walks.

We are home!
Honestly we’ve probably done more walking and running around than we would’ve at work but we’ve all had a fantastic time away.
Now ready to get back with our pack and make the most of the rest of summer ❤️
