🐴💫 Tiny Tots & Lead Rein Fun ! 💫🐴

Our Tiny Tots sessions are the perfect introduction to the magical world of ponies 🐎💖
Held every Saturday at 9:30am and Sunday at 12:30pm, these fun-filled 30-minute group rides are just £22 and packed with pony cuddles, confidence-building, and BIG smiles!

Just look at what one happy rider had to say:

“Trixie loves her Tiny Tots session every week — it’s her favourite day of the week and her confidence and ability is growing all the time! The face says it all! xx” 💕

🌟 For slightly older or more experienced little riders, we also offer a 60-minute Lead Rein Group Lesson every Sunday at 1:00pm — £35!

✨ Stithians Show 2025 ✨
Black Jack absolutely surpassed all our hopes this weekend! 🥇 He took 1st place in a strong Rising Stars Lightweight/Heavyweight Cob Qualifier — and then went on to be Reserve Champion in the overall Rising Stars Championship! 🌟

This is only his third ever show… what an achievement for such a special boy.

Seeing everyone come up to meet him afterwards was humbling and joyful what a special horse 💫

And of course, thank you to everyone who keeps Jack ticking along behind the scenes — it truly takes a team. 💜

Hot Weather Update from Old Mill Stables 🐴

With the warm weather upon us, we’re taking steps to ensure both our horses and riders stay safe and comfortable during lessons. Here’s what you need to know:

✅ Horses are being washed down between lessons multiple times a day to keep them cool
✅ We’re making the most of our indoor school, which has two open sides for a lovely breeze and plenty of shade
✅ Lessons are being adapted to suit the heat, with extra breaks and shorter sessions where needed
✅ We may adjust lesson times during particularly hot periods – if this applies to you, we’ll be in touch directly

Please remember:
🌞 Wear suncream before your lesson
🧢 Wear a hat when you’re not riding
🚫 Shoulders must still be covered when riding – even in the heat, this is for your safety
💧 Bring a drink to stay hydrated

Are you a passionate, experienced equestrian ready to inspire the next generation of riders? Or perhaps you’re a confident and capable horse enthusiast looking to begin your career as a trainee instructor? We want to hear from you!

We’re looking for a Riding Instructor (or a Trainee Instructor with significant equine experience) to join our welcoming, professional team. This role is initially part-time, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position.

🌟 What You’ll Be Doing:
🐎 Leading Pony Club sessions
🌈 Delivering the Changing Lives Through Horses programme
👥 Teaching traditional group and private riding lessons

📍 Based at Old Mill Stables Equestrian Centre – an approved BHS Riding School and Assessment Centre, set in beautiful surroundings and committed to high standards of horsemanship and education.

💼 Pay dependent on experience

We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable, and passionate about helping riders of all ages and abilities grow in confidence and skill.
