Meet Wolfie 😍
Wolfie is a young New Zealand Huntaway who is just wonderful!
He struggles a little with his social skills, lead walking and recall. Today was our first walk and he was absolutely amazing!
I took Bonny and Raven with me as they’re females and less challenging for an unsocial male- he was very chivalrous 😍
I am VERY excited to be working with him- more Wolfie content to follow ♥️

Took a few of the gang over to Penrose today
Ollie thought he’d try and copy Rio and jump across the river… and of course being a 10th of his size he fell in! 😂 He wasn’t impressed!
It was Ravens first time meeting Rio and they got on wonderfully!

I always mix my walks with off and on the lead. Walking your dog on the lead with them in a calm and following state of mind is a really important bonding exercise for you and your dog. I always allow them to run and play first and then put them on their leads for the last bit of their walk. It also calms them down for their journey home.

What a happy and wet walk we had ♥️

Glorious woodland walk yesterday with the gang 🐾
It’s so lovely when dogs get to walk with other dogs ☺️ It plays a huge part in their social skills but also creates trust and a bond with their walker

Raven came out with 5 of us today! I challenged her this morning as one of the French ladies will match her energy if she becomes reactive. However, with calm guidance they both got on wonderfully and we had a lovely peaceful morning ☺️
HOW GOOD ARE DOGS! ♥️

The beautiful weather seems to be continuing and as we look forward to getting out and enjoying the sunshine please be on the look out for adders.
The adder is the UK’s only venomous snake. All winter these shy creatures have been hibernating, it’s been a long cold season and as they emerge into the warmth they are slow and sleepy. They can be found in rough grasslands, heaths and moorland.
Areas such as sand dunes and rocky cliff paths are favourite spots for a basking adder.
Take care walking your dogs where adders are known to be, a bite to the nose is fairly common to an inquisitive pooch as is an unaware paw.
Adders are not aggressive by nature and generally bite in self defence when disturbed.
If you suspect your dog has been bitten by an adder then our advice is to get to a vet as soon as possible for treatment.

H**e’s second session went beautifully!

I started our walk by ensuring H**e was as calm as possible (she almost fell asleep 😂). This was to make sure she was in a calm head space incase we met any other dogs or people.
She could hear other dogs barking and she chose to totally ignore them!! She was absolutely amazing! We met a couple of her neighbours today and she was very polite ☺️
Our walk continued to be calm with no tension on her lead at all.
She sat down on the way back listening to more barking dogs and again, didn’t react at all.

The last photo is her waiting patiently for a well deserved fishy treat!

So so proud of her! Yay ☺️
