Sometimes it’s so easy to compare yourself to others and feel like what you’re doing isn’t enough.
You see someone else’s business growing, someone else achieving more, looking busier, reaching more people… and you forget to stop and look at what you are actually doing.
I only look after around 15 horses a day. But, that’s around 100 horses every week.
400 horses every month.
And around 1,200 horses every 3 months.
1,200 times horses owners have trusted me to care for their partners in crime🤍
And behind every number is an individual horse. A horse who needs their feet picking out, their water checked, their hay given, their stable mucked out, their medication, their rug changed, their reassurance, their exercise… or sometimes just someone to notice that they’re not quite themselves.
It’s easy for me to look at my own day-to-day work and think, “I’m just doing my job.”
But when I actually stop and think about it, I’m making a difference to a lot of horses.
So if you’re feeling like your impact isn’t big enough, or like you’re not doing enough compared to everyone else…
Take a step back.
Look at how many people, animals or lives you’ve already made a difference to.
Sometimes you don’t realise the impact you have. 🤍
And maybe you’re doing far more than you give yourself credit for. 🐴✨
I’m trying to take a step back from using AI in photos but after a slight wobble this week, this has really helped so here is my insight.
