New recruit today is Willow who has been causing issues when people come to house and on walks with her barking. Owners had a trainer and a behaviourist previously but not fixed so today was my turn.. saw how she was when people entered saltwater a few things and was feeding her cheese by hand in no time, then went out for a walk again tweaked how owners handle her and she did so well for first time.. as always repetition and consistency are the key to success.. it’s one day at a time with lots of focus but they will get there.

Cooler weather ahead means can play catch up with appts, please remember when sent a time/date I will hold it for 24hrs if no confirmation it will be offered to someone else..

As the weather has put a stop to lessons ( albeit today’s forecast was wrong)🙄 about time I thanked all my clients. I’m constantly going to people who have various trainers within a few miles of them but they still choose me.. this is from Gloucester, Bristol, Forest of Dean, Newent, Cotswolds, Cheltenham, Bishops Cleeve etc ..

My group sessions fill up within a day..

I’m truly humbled by the support of my business and all the likes, follows and comments on the various social media pages..

Being self employed is tough but with good clients based on results it doesn’t have to be tough..

Last hot spell I had to cancel 40 lessons, I managed to reschedule half of them but still had half to go before this hot spell so have more lessons on top being cancelled. The more flexible you can be the more I can get to you soon as weather cools down.

New recruit today was Blaise a year old GSD.. beautiful dog and owner has done a lot with her but just needed some help around lead walking and how she behaves etc.. they were fab and both got right down to work so will thrive moving forward, maybe another catch up to just assist with firming up recall as well but it’s now down to repetition as always.

Back on weather watch, just caught up from last hot spell.. mon and Tue only two days forecast to warm thankfully lessons both days are in appropriate locations and times.. any change will post have a fab weekend

New recruit today was Bailey a lovely fox red lab.. soft and loves fuss but walks weren’t enjoyable as he was pulling owner down the road. Well Bailey learnt so quickly literally seconds on how he should walk… extended the distance and added dogs in as well and still steady and consistent, now it’s all about repetition from his owner.
