Every Dog Can and I are excited to announce that The Dog Camp September edition is available to book!

4th- 7th September - don't miss out on the amazing chance and experiences that are involved in this.

🏕 Don't like camping? There are bell tents that are furnished.
🚿 There are shower facilities onsite which are heated! No ice showers here 🥶
🐕 Secure fenced pitches. These are fab for being able to have your dog loose - like a garden for your tent.
🍕 On the Friday, we will provide you with cooked food (in May we had pizza)
🗣 We run talks on understanding your dog better and how to build on your experience after the camp
🦴 We are sponsored by so many amazing companies which help us provide a huge goodie bag for everyone who attended!

We were so glad with how the first one turned out, we had to run it again!

Sometimes you have to get really involved in the job! That included having a paddle with the dogs to help them enjoy the water more.

This was important with the weather recently as it help cool us both down.

What do you think this means?

Every situation we technically use management tools, but for dogs who have certain triggers for their reactivity, management will help reduce potentially the severity and also help build a better basis for training!

Enrichment!

During this hot spell, your dogs won't probably be able to access the same amount of physical exercise, so this is where keeping them mentally stimulated is key!

*Personal Post and Exciting News*

Hope everyone is enjoying the bank holiday weekend!

I just wanted to say a thank you to all of my amazing clients, colleagues, friends and family throughout these last few months.

My exciting news is there is going to be an addition to the Woolley's Woofers Clan due in October! I am over the moon and can't wait to be not just a Dog Dad but a Human Dad as well!

Also, big shout out to my sister in law for making these delicious cup cakes when the bakery pulled out last minute for the gender reveal!

Like in humans, drugs like SSRI's can cause dog to over heat to in these warmer weather spells. If your dog is on medication like this:

🐕 Walk earlier/later in the day, avoiding any longer exposure to the heat.
🐕 Provide them with cool areas to sit inside, for instance, if they don't mind a fan, this is good to dissipate the heat away from the dog.
🐕 Lots of water available - dogs will pant, and with panting, they loose water vapour quickly dehydrating them, so make sure water is always available

Meet Ozzy!

This handsome pup is a absolute pleasure to work with and also hilarious. He is all guns blazing but as soft as a wet wipe. When he goes and greets his dog friend (which is nearly everyone he meets), he love to give kisses 😘

The boys are loving nature's snuffle mat!

Enrichment takes form in many shapes, and one way I keep my boys occupied is sniffing and searching around the garden for treats.

Sometimes, even one of their meal will be scattered.
