Back to school isn't just a big change for children - it can be a big adjustment for pets too. 📚

As the summer holidays come to an end, our pets often have to get used to quieter homes, new routines and spending more time on their own.

To help them settle back into the school routine:
🐾 Gradually reintroduce time alone
🧩 Keep them busy with enrichment toys and puzzle feeders
🚶 Stick to regular walks and feeding times
💙 Make time for quality cuddles and play before and after school

🐾 Help Us Identify This Cat 🐾

We are saddened to share that a male cat, believed to be around 3-4 years old, was brought to us after being involved in a road traffic accident and sadly passed away.

He is a large, unneutered male with distinctive Bengal/tabby markings and is a very handsome boy.

If you think this cat may belong to you, or if you recognise him, please contact the practice on 01395 267928.

Please be aware that our practice will be closed on Wednesday from 8:30am to 11:00am while our team takes part in staff training for an exciting new project.

If you need to collect any medications, please arrange to do so before 8:30am or after 11:00am.

We will, of course, remain available for urgent medical emergencies during this time. If your enquiry is not urgent, we kindly ask that you contact us outside of these hours.

From asking for a second breakfast to insisting they definitely weren't the one who dug up the flower bed, we think our dogs would always have an explanation ready. 😂
