FOR VETS - QUALITATIVE BEHAVIOURAL ASSESSMENT IN EXOTIC ANIMALS: WHAT DO YOU KNOW?

Dear Colleagues,
We would like to ask your help and invite to complete a short anonymous survey (should take no more than 5 minutes to complete).

The purpose of this survey is to investigate whether and how the Qualitative Behavioural Assessment (QBA) is perceived by two distinct categories: Veterinarians and Pet Owners. This research focuses on non-traditional companion animals (NTCAs, such as rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, parrots, tortoises...).

You are asked to respond honestly, based on your current knowledge regarding the subject. You must be aged over 18 years to take part and based in the UK or Ireland. If you choose to take part, you do need to complete every question please. You can use a smart phone, tablet, or laptop to access the survey.

Your responses will be used to understand the current perception that Vets and Pet Owners have of QBA and how to subsequently improve its understanding and use.

It closes on November 16th 2025.
