What a wonderful weekend at Little Mill Equestrian. Firstly, a heartfelt well done to Susanne, all the staff and volunteers for their hard work over the two days organising such a fantastic event and for the tribute to Katie & raising funds for Theo. There were lots of smiles and friendly faces over the two days. A super well done to all the competitors and the community that supported the fundraiser.

I am going away today but please don’t panic I am taking the photos with me 🙂 📸 I’m setting of to drive to Devon and as soon as I get there will finish the photos. They will all be up this evening.

I will be donating from photo sales to Theo so please bear in mind the more bought the more I can give to Theo ♥️ I will update you all with the gallery information later.

And that’s a ‘wrap’ as they say in filming.

When we were offered the opportunity to run the Welsh Dressage championships we didn’t know what we were taking on! It is a privilege to hold this championship and to be able to run this year in aid of Katie who so sadly passed away in April. It was wonderful to have Theo, her little boy, here to enjoy the celebration of her life. Thankyou so much to all of you who gave to the auction and the raffle. With the contribution from Little Mill, I suspect we will raise well over £6000 and we will publish how we have done this in due course I just need a little time to rest 🤣. Well done all the prize winners and to Brendan who took home the overall Champion.

We are very pleased to see you at at Little Mill for the Welsh Dressage Championships This is a charity event and I would like to remind you that everyone is volunteering. The car park at the top fills up very quickly and the car parking control 'meet and greet' is the most challenging. Please be kind when you check in. We know you are stressed but so are we!!

Timings are now available for the Welsh Dressage Championships. We are running two arenas, with a third for the para riders. Please will you take into consideration the number of riders and the amount of effort it has taken to get to this stage. We are so pleased we will be able to offer financial support to Theo following this event. Unless you have a conflict of time no changes can be made.

We have been so lucky to have so many people wanting to enter at the weekend. Sadly we have had to close early to see whether we can fit everyone in. We will calculate the timings this morning and if it is at all possible reopen for additional entries for a limited period. Please watch this space.

A few notes for our Welsh dressage championships this weekend….



⭐️ We have one set of accomodation available off site but very close by. Accommodation only sleeps 2 comfortably ( £120 ) . Horse space here available on site.

⭐️ The lovely Val Smith and here team have a bakes sale in the cafe to fundraise but are only able to accept cash, so please bring some with you so you don’t miss out on sweet treats 😋

⭐️ the raffle will also be taking place, so please bring cash to hand for that too!



⭐️ If you are travelling in a car and have a blue badge, let us know ahead of time so we are able to reserve an accessible space for you. All other cars must be parked at the bottom car park on the gallops
