Back from another busy summer pony premier show, and what a lovely show it was, we travelled back to West Sussex to Coombelands Equestrian chasing those pesky golden tickets to HOYS , as well as getting those double clears in ready for next year too ( for the ponies next jockeys)
All the ponies had double clears on the Friday , Celine and Mavis in the Newcomers , as well as Ballymagans High On Candy , and Cindy and Isla only went and won the ride and bike they led right from the word go with everyone chasing them, as well as a dc in the steppingstones.
Saturday we had the Newcomers Second rounds with Mavis and Celine both jumped well, we were especially pleased with Mavis as she is still so young and just stepping up to those more technical tracks, Isla and Cindy were 6th in the 80cm open too.
Sunday and it was time for the big guns to come out ( NFS) Christmas Candy jumped her socks off for Soph, in a really tough strong technical course which only saw two double clears to just have one pole and take 7th place again.
Ballymagans High On Candy (NFS) got another dc in the newcomers and placed and Mave and Celine both just had an unlucky pole, Isla and Cindy (NFS) had a fab last day with double clears in the steppingstones and 80cm open and a 4th place.
Back home and back at it with the other ponies while the jumpers have a few well deserved days chilling in the field!
It was so lovely to catch up with old friends and new ones made as well.
