Why not come along and enjoy the action from our midway viewing point?

🍔 A variety of delicious burgers made with quality meat sourced from the hills surrounding Abergwesyn will be available, along with a selection of soft drinks.

🧁 The Friends of the School will be serving a tempting selection of homemade cakes.

🚗 Important Traffic Information
To help ensure the safety of competitors using sections of the road through Abergwesyn, all visitor traffic should enter Abergwesyn via Beulah.
The route will be clearly signposted on the day.

Well done to 2 lovely ladies gaining their BHS Bronze Awards in both Care and Riding as well as the BHS Silver Ride Safe. Thanks to Amber and Becki for their coaching skills too. A big thank you to Sally and Nicola (the lovely ladies) for treating us to afternoon tea at The New Inn in Amroth.

Horseshoe Camping will be opening for the 6 weeks school holidays.

A quick hello from us!! Thank you so much for your support and patience during this tricky time for our family. Thankfully, I’ve now finished active treatment for breast cancer and am sooooo looking forward to welcoming the lovely families on site soon.

We’ve had an influx of bookings now we’re getting closer to the summer holidays and can’t thank you all enough. Admittedly, my admin hasn’t always been the best anyway and this year it is even slower, but I am hopefully now back on track and have responded to all queries and bookings. If you haven’t heard from us and are expecting to, please get in touch!

We’re operating on a smaller number of pitches this year to try to keep it calm behind the scenes so please, if you’re hoping to stay, we’re getting booked up so don’t delay booking!

Happy 40th Wedding Anniversary to Hazel & Peter Smith! ❤️🥂

Married on 17th May 1986 and still going strong — which honestly deserves some kind of lifetime achievement award! 😂

40 years of love, laughter, teamwork, compromise, and probably asking “What did you say?” from different rooms.

You’ve proven that true love really does exist — along with patience, selective hearing, and knowing when to just say “Yes dear.” 😄

Wishing you both another amazing chapter filled with happiness, good health, plenty of laughs, and many more years of putting up with each other in the most beautiful way possible. 🥂✨

Cheers to 40 years of memories, adventures, and a love story that just keeps getting better with age!

Another project completed by Matt. The outdoor school has had the fencing upgraded. A lovely 40m x 20m school with a lovely view too!

Another addition to our range - if you haven't got a suitable coat for the weather to ride in we have short waterproof coats, long waterproof coats for adult and long waterproof coats for children. This is thanks to the Welsh Government for part funding this range to try and "Weather Proof" our business. We just ask for a small donation to dry them afterwards! The coats were much appreciated by these riders - the first to test them out! We also sell them with 15% off RRP. This way you can try before you buy.

The Equestrian Business Awards in association with Equinnect - Riding School of the Year

Great riding schools don’t all look the same. Some are busy centres with full calendars, others are small, independent yards, family-run schools, or even one-person operations quietly doing brilliant work day in, day out.

This award is about recognising those riding schools and instructors who put horses first, create safe and supportive environments, which goes beyond riding, and help riders of all ages and abilities grow in confidence, both in and out of the saddle.

If you know a riding school that deserves recognition, whether it’s where you learned to ride, somewhere that supports grassroots riders, or a small yard making a big impact, we’d love to hear about them.
Nominations are open for Riding School of the Year, in association with Equinnect, and they’re open to riding schools of all sizes.
