West Wales Canine Hydrotherapy opened in 2016, in a former church in Peniel, Carmarthen, West Wales. Owned and run by Katharine and Tim Deane. The swimming pool, which is 8m x 4m, is the largest indoor swimming pool for dogs in Wales! Kept at a constant warm temperature between 28 and 30 degrees C, it is the perfect environment to help your dog recover from injury or surgery assisting them to retu

rn to full fitness by exercising in a non weight bearing environment. Dogs with joint problems benefit enormously from gentle exercise in a warm pool. Those without health problems are also welcome. We offer swimming lessons for puppies and adult dogs and sessions to improve your dog's confidence in and around water. Dogs who can already swim and just love water and want to keep fit and at a healthy weight are also welcome. West Wales Canine Hydrotherapy will require your vet to confirm they are happy for your dog to swim, this applies even for dogs with no health issues.
