Rescuing one animal may not change the world, but for that animal their world is changed forever...

At the Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home we have been providing care and support to vulnerable animals in our community for over 80 years. We find wonderful families for pets who need a new home and provide access to veterinary treatment for pets living with financially vulnerable families through our sub

sidised veterinary clinics, ensuring no animal suffers because of cost. We are entirely dependent on the generous support of the public and local community in order to achieve are aim of improved animal welfare throughout the Cotswolds. ✨Fun fact; Expert apple finder, no fallen fruit escapes her nose!

Piper has been in our care for 472 due to being a case animal, but now she is signed over and on the search for her forever home, could you offer this wonderful girl her retirement home? Despite her age, Piper still enjoys going on adventures and when the day is done, all she really wants is to curl up by your side on the sofa.

"Can’t believe it’s been a year already 🙀

Louie is doing really well, he’s full of energy, a total foodie, and definitely keeps us on our toes with his cheeky personality! He’s a bit of a troublemaker (in the best way), always curious and entertaining. He’s even learned a few tricks along the way!

When we adopted him, he was a very timid kitten - now he’s the total opposite.

🎉Our dedicated Animal Care Assistants are at it again - going the extra mile for our animals!

This time, we’re giving a massive shout-out to Charlotte, who knew just how much Ollie would benefit from a day in the countryside.💖

Charlotte dedicated her day off last week to come in early, collect Ollie, and head for the beautiful Malverns in Worcestershire. They enjoyed a day full of adventure, fresh air, and plenty of sniffs before heading back to the centre.

If you’re looking for a best friend to join you on peaceful country walks, Ollie might just be your perfect match. 💙

For CDCH, it means we can help even more animals by freeing up space in our centre and giving every dog, cat, or small animal the best possible start before finding their forever family.

From wagging tails to gentle purrs, every moment in a foster home matters. It’s the first step in a brand-new chapter for the animals who arrive in our care.
