Home Consults.
Little Woody is one of my regular customers along with his sisters.
Woody's mum messaged with a concern about a matted area of fur at the base of his tail.
When I visited him to examine the area I carefully clipped the matted area to reveal a rather sore patch of skin.
After cleaning the area and applying antiseptic skin care I checked and expressed his a**l glands. Woody's owner continued to keep the area clean with antiseptic treatment.
I was delighted to get a photo after a few days showing a vast improvement of the area and a much more comfortable Woody.
I really love the "thank you" picture I received too 🥰🐾

A Pop In with Nursing Services.
I've been lucky enough to look after this little family of brothers since they were kittens and have got to know them very well.
When I looked after them during the Summer holidays I was concerned abouts Ozzy's demeanour, he just wasn't quite himself and he'd lost some weight.
So armed with my nursing bag and help from James I took his temperature which was worryingly high. A quick call to the vets and we were being seen without delay.
Ozzy spent sometime in the veterinary hospital and due to him not wanting to eat he was fitted with an esophagostomy feeding tube and was fed through it until he was eating normally and able to maintain his weight.
When I picked him up he enjoyed a little wash, brush and furry trouser trim as he was unable to groom properly due to the neck bandage protecting the feeding tube.
It was very touch and go for Ozzy so I was delighted to see him well on the road to recovery when I was booked to do Sanitary Grooms on his bothers.
Ozzy is a very lucky boy and I'm pleased to be part of his and his brothers lives 🥰😸😸😸

WHAT A SUMMER ☀️ ITS BEEN
We have loved every minute of it. We've looked after so many of your pets, cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, parrots and chickens. We've popped in, walked, trimmed claws, expressed a**l glands, dematted cats, cleaned teeth.... the list goes on hence the complete neglect of FB posts.
So here we go. I'd like to firstly share a few of the lovely pets we've provided pop ins for over the Summer.

The dreaded GRASSSEEDS.
This week James and I popped round to see Tilly to express her a**l glands. During this job James noticed a red raw sore very licked patch on Tilly's paw. This looks suspiciously like a grassseed entry wound to me so i advised a vet visit.
Tilly visited her vets, had a little sedation and sure enough a pesky grassseed was removed.
I popped in again to remove her Bandage yesterday and her wound is looking great.
Tilly will be back on her walks next week and staying away from those grassseeds.

Residents of Sandy. We need your help.
Cher is an elderly Siamese and has gone missing in the Glebe Close/Road area. She has been missing for just over a week. Please, if you live locally or know somebody who lives local to this area can you check your sheds and garages and keep an eye out for her. I have visited Cher at home before and she is a shy/quiet cat.
Microchipped and Spayed.
Any info at all please contact me and share this post to help get her home.
All vets have been contacted
Fliers posted and daily walk rounds have been happening.
