So we have another week or so of hot weather to look forward to!
And it goes without saying...KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON YOUR PETS.
Alot of you contact us in a panic,so here is a small rundown of what to look for...
Look for obvious signs,things you haven't noticed before,like lethargy,disorientation,frantically trying to escape enclosure,excessive soaking in water bowl or mouth open/gaping when occupying the cold end of enclosure.
Keep your curtains closed during the day!!!
Usually the UK 'heatwaves' don't pose too much of a risk to our reptile pets for short periods as they will also get extreme periods where they originated from.
And if you're heating is thermostatically controlled then it shouldn't pose a threat,just a slight increase than normal.
Saying that,if you notice any of the above and are concerned then don't hesitate to contact us.😎

I feel that owning a shop has given me a sixth sense!
I can usually tell whether you're genuinely interested to get into the hobby or add to your collection.
I can tell if you are just after free information so that you can purchase elsewhere and I can tell if we are just a stop gap to keep you or your kids entertained, I can also tell if you just see us as a petting zoo!
We are a business,we will entertain those that are worthy of our time.
We won't get every animal out so you can handle them.
And we won't allow your kids to rush around,shout and bang on the glass.
You can leave us a bad review.
Because as far as we are concerned if people are only interested in negative reviews then they are negative people and are not worth having as customers.
