Our amazing volunteers are all set up and ready to rock at the End of Summer Bash at Black Gold Brewery! ☀️🐾🍻

Come find us in Petrolia today from 4:00–10:30 PM! We’ve got dog toys, Humane Society hoodies, water, Kool-Aid Jammers, freezies and more, with proceeds from our sales supporting the animals in our care. ❤️

There’s live music, food vendors, craft beer and tons of family-friendly fun happening all evening.

☀️🍻 We’re heading to Petrolia!
The Sarnia & District Humane Society will be joining the End of Summer Bash at Black Gold Brewery today, Saturday, August 29 from 4:00 to 10:30 PM!

Come out for an awesome evening featuring live music, food vendors, craft beer and family friendly fun at 395 Fletcher St., Petrolia.
💧 We’ll be on site selling water, Kool Aid Jammers, and our hoodies with proceeds supporting the animals in our care!

Come say hi, grab a cold drink and help us raise a little money for the shelter while enjoying one last summer bash!

🌈 Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day 🌈

Today, we remember the beloved pets who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge and the paw prints they left forever on our hearts. ❤️

In honour of this special day, we’re extending our Tee Box Pet Signs for our upcoming Charity Golf Open through the weekend.
For $30, you can have a special tee box sign created in memory of a beloved pet. Your sign will be displayed on the course during our tournament, giving you a beautiful way to honour their memory while also supporting the animals currently in our care.

You do not have to be attending the golf tournament to participate! Tee box signs will be available for pickup at the shelter the week following the tournament, so you can take your special memorial sign home with you. 🐾

Remember a life you loved. Help change the life of another.
Tee box signs will be available to order through this weekend only.

Our adult cat adoption fees are still only $50!

And right now, we have quite the clowder of cats waiting to meet you. (Yes, “clowder” is a real word 😂)

Now, some of them may not look overly impressed in their photos… but don’t let those serious little faces fool you. They’re purrfectly friendly, full of personality, and just waiting for the right person to give them a chance.
If you’ve been thinking about adding an adult cat to your family, this might be your sign. Come meet our clowder and see who chooses you. ❤️

Our furry friends at the shelter could really use some cozy large blankets and comforters to keep them comfortable. ❤️

If you have any clean ones you’re no longer using, we would be so grateful for the donation!

The 10th Annual Countryview Motel & RV Campground Resort Classic Car & Truck Show was a huge success! 🚗🐾❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who came out, stopped by to say hi, picked up some of our swag, bought raffle tickets, and supported such a wonderful community event.

We also want to give a very special thank you to the absolutely amazing Car Show committee & volunteers who helped make this event possible. The months of planning and hard work involved to support 2 charities is truly appreciated. We loved being a part of this - you are all Rockstars!! ❤️

We absolutely love seeing our community come together, especially when it’s all for a great cause. Proceeds from the event are supporting both The Sarnia & District Humane Society and Pathways Health Centre for Children, and we are so grateful to everyone who helped make the day such a success.

And of course… a special thank you to Mother Nature for cooperating and letting the fun happen! ☀️😂

We are always proud to support local businesses, especially those that have shown so much love and support to the animals in our community. ❤️🐾

Tom Kremer is an amazing supporter of the Sarnia & District Humane Society, generously donating tattoo work to help support the animals in our care.

Now, with his new business, Tom is creating beautiful handcrafted pet memorials and artwork to honour the pets who leave such a lasting paw print on our hearts. Even more special, 10% of the proceeds from each piece will be donated to the Sarnia & District Humane Society. ❤️
