My Bruno managed to get his cone through the fence as soon as that gate closed and our backs turned! Chicken wire, zipties and a pile of rocks were added but wasn’t long before i had to wire the gate and rope a part of the the fence to keep this little Houdini in the yard!
He’s supposed to be resting so instead of him following me around I tried to contain him in the corner. I moved all the furniture around and had him nicely blocked in with my bed, two suitcases, and a pail against the island, the door open and a pile of chairs at the other end!! Not 10 minutes later, a cone appeared from under the bed, followed by a happy lil dog face🤯☺️
One very smart and determined street dog here. I might be just a bit more stubborn though🤭
I changed the room around again and so far so good!! Fingers crossed!

Hii!! Today I am a foster DogMom!!
There’s a puppy named “Bruno” here in Chelem who would soo love to find a loving Human of his very own. Poor guy was found with his leg broken and dangling and was rescued by the sweetest couple who took him straight to the vet where he had a cast put on.. his new cone, though awkward, prevents him from chewing the cast off, but he can still push it off with another leg if he’s give enough time…

Bruno has been accepted at a shelter in Ottawa and when his leg is stable, and if this sweetheart hasn’t been adopted, he will be flying mid February, hopefully with https://www.facebook.com/share/g/17bhUyJgz9/?mibextid=wwXIfr but that’s not confirmed yet.. (and what a great organization.. I had no idea!! I’ve already offered to fly another dog home when I go)
Bruno was staying at the vet’s until a foster home could be found, so I went to meet him and he’s so sweet and just wants love and attention.. I got him today🥰🥰

I thought all dogs love car rides but .. I had to lay in my backseat for awhile trying to convince Nacho that my driving is perfectly safe! Finally I mentioned that his Dad needed his golf club delivered so he jumped in and off we went!!
Fresh air, a few treats, and Nacho loves back scratches!
Had the best day with this sweetheart♥️

Sometimes you don’t have to go far from home to meet a sweetiepie☺️
His name is “Nacho” and he’s beaaautiful, soft and fluffy.. you’ll see him soon!! He is a lil nervous, so he took a minute and warmed right up to me🥰His family will be away enjoying their daughter’s wedding in a few weeks so I get to spend the whole day with him!!

Ohh!! I hate this part🥲🥰 I think he knows I’m leaving, that I don’t pack this much stuff to go on a walk! One last walk in the bush before Dad gets home! Rocky’s going to be soo excited to see him!! I didn’t tell Rocky his Dad was coming home today, I wanted to surprise him. I tried to keep him in the bush long enough his Dad would be home when we got back and, boy! Rocky saw him and was soo excited!! He ran so fast, and I think he jumped 6’ in the air to look at Dad. So darn sweet☺️
And so my time with Rocky has come to an end.. back to reality, I suppose. I am very thankful for the time I’ve spent here with Rocky.. and maybe we’ll see each other again😉♥️
