It's hot outside, sometimes too hot. And just as we people get too warm, our pets do too. Sometimes quicker than one might expect. Be careful over the summer and early fall months. Keep your pets inside on hot days, provide cool water, and only exercise them in the cooler morning and evening hours. Never leave your dog in a hot car, even if it will only be for a few minutes.

Tootsie, the Sphinx, paid us a visit yesterday! We don't get to see cats like her very often, so it's always exciting when we do!

Did you know that the Sphinx is a Canadian breed? They originated in Toronto, Ontario, in the 1960s. One hairless kitten, a little boy named Prune, was born in a litter of domestic cats!

In the last few months we have had an increase in late or missed appointments. As clients know, we are a very busy clinic and are usually booking about a month out to be seen by a vet.

To help you, we utilize text and email for reminders, also, we will call a day or two in advance.

We do understand that life happens. We are not implementing a late fee or a missed appointment fee at this time. We do ask that you call us as soon as you know you won't be making your appointment. We have a long cancellation list of pets who would love your spot!

If you are late for an appointment, please be prepared to have to reschedule. We want to provide you with the best medicine and experience we can, and that takes time!
