🐾 Myth-Busting Monday!

You can absolutely train a cat! With patience, treats, and positive reinforcement, many cats can learn tricks, respond to commands, or even walk on a leash. 🐾

Cats are smart - and sometimes stubborn - but training is possible (and fun)!

😸 Have you trained your cat? Drop a photo or tell us what they’ve learned in the comments!

If cats could text you from the vet...

📱 “Please advise: I am being held against my will.”
📱 "Knocked a jar off the counter to protest this betrayal. 10/10 would do it again."
📱 “Plotting revenge. But also kind of enjoyed the attention.”

Drop your cat’s “vet visit caption” below - we want to hear them all! 😹

🐾 Myth-Busting Monday!

While tail wags can mean excitement or friendliness, they can also signal stress, uncertainty, or even a warning. It all depends on the speed, height, and stiffness of the wag - and the rest of the dog’s body language.

A loose, wiggly wag? Probably happy.
A stiff, high tail with fast wagging? That might mean tension.
Low and slow? Possibly nervous.

🚫🐱 Why is my cat avoiding the litter box?
It could be a dirty box, stress, or even a medical issue like a UTI. Always rule out health concerns first—then make sure the box is clean, quiet, and filled with litter your cat likes!

There have been a few cyanobacteria blooms in the area. Please make sure to check the water before going swimming or letting your dog have a drink! Cyanobacteria is highly toxic can be fatal for our dogs!

Things to watch for if your dog comes in contact with blue-green algae:

1️⃣ Vomiting or diarrhea
2️⃣ Weakness or tremors
3️⃣ Trouble breathing

If your dog has been near algae-covered water and shows any of these signs, seek veterinary care immediately. Stay safe and avoid still or scummy water this summer! 💧

🏇 Is Your Horse Off Their Game?

Not jumping like they used to? Hard to keep weight on? Just not quite themselves?

Gastric ulcers might be the blame - and they're more common than you think.

A gastroscopy gives us a clear answer - it’s the only way to know for sure if your horse has gastric ulcers and how severe they are, so we can treat them appropriately before they cause further issues.

Now through July 31st, if ulcers are diagnosed and treatment is recommended, you’ll receive:
✅ 3 FREE GastroGard syringes
✅ A tub of Equitop Pronutrin to support healing

🎯 Help your horse feel and perform their best.

📞 Call us today to book their gastroscopy appointment!

Most dogs eat grass out of boredom or instinct, and occasional munching is usually harmless!

Some pups simply enjoy the texture or taste. As long as it’s not excessive and they’re otherwise healthy, it’s nothing to worry about!

📞 Not sure if your dog’s grass habits are normal? We’re always happy to chat!
