We have skipped our next breeding and may be evaluating the future of our program. So if you want one of our pups, now might be the time.
With the economy the way it is with no end in site, the bottom has fallen out of the market and, sadly, many quality breeders are hanging up the towel.
Less people have the budget for a quality pet, understandably, which will unfortunately push the market into the hands of less reputable breeders, not being selective, not doing genetic testing etc.
We all have to do what we can within our means and I throw no judgement at all to those whose budgets do not allow for a higher quality purchase. Lord knows I’ve been there ♥️ I also throw no shade at those who love the Heinz 57s, cross breeds etc. We are farmers and value any dog that serves its purpose. But we are breeding for a market and unfortunately, that market has dwindled to the point of taking financial losses on litters. Which makes no sense for the breeder.
