Want to join our crew? Come get certified through our EAL Canada wrangler certification course! Learn how to assist our coaches with Equine Assisted Wellness programs, what your role as a wrangler is in a professional setting, and earn your certificate to gain access to our exclusive group of wranglers to keep up with volunteer and paid opportunities around the farm! This course goes over a brief history of EAL, codes of conduct/ethics, and our barn's philosophy and mission. You'll also get some practical hands-on work with the horses to prepare you for working with our clients and your role as a wrangler in each type of session we offer. The certification then opens you up to be able to work for our barn in a paid or volunteer capacity.

Day one of our Mother's Day Weekend Retreat was so wonderful! Filled with peaceful moments, beautiful memories - and chats with our pregnant mare, Tori... trying to convince her to have her foal tomorrow and make this retreat even more unforgettable 😂💜

My favorite saying sure is getting harder to live by as this endless winter drags on - but we continue working at it! Our spring horsemanship campers were definitely not expecting a blizzard to be part of their curriculum at the end of April... but we approached the day with a great attitude and had a beautiful morning learning about skijor, cuddling baby goats and chickens, and playing barnyard bingo to challenge our problem solving skills (and earn some crisp high-fives 😎).

We are celebrating all the moisture we have been receiving this spring! I will forever be the broken record saying the forests and pastures NEED this snowfall. Slow release moisture is more beneficial than rain during this time of year to allow the ground to properly soak it all in, and this will bring healthier plant growth and less forest fire risk through the summer. Believe me, we are excited for the warmer weather too - but the best growth happens after life gets uncomfortable 🖤

What does this mean?
We will still run them all-year, but they must be ordered before March 1st! Once you have purchased a Date Experience, you can book right away or email us at a later date to book a time in 2026.

Who are these for?
Any two people who want to experience something new, deepen their connection, and share a lot of laughs! Partners, siblings, buddies, kids (6+), enemies that want to make amends (please warn us if this is the case, otherwise things get awkward) - all are welcome here! One Date Experience purchase is good for 2 people, and you're welcome to book a double date if you want more family fun.

What can I expect at a Date Experience?
We will immerse you in our world - shoveling manure, cleaning tack... wait, no. That's not it. Let me try that again.
You will be surrounded by animals - starting with an overly friendly greeting from our barn cats, chickens, goats, bunny, and pig - and then you will be guided through some fun and relaxing team-building activities with our horses. We are happy to accommodate groundwork or ridden exercises depending on your preference - no experience required, we will teach you everything you need to enjoy the experience! If you like a little friendly competition, we can add some playful games that are sure to bring out the smiles (and banter, we love a good banter).

Did you say we can add a photoshoot?
I sure did! I am also a professional photographer, and would be happy to add on a rustic mini photoshoot with 5 edited images at the end of your session. The cost to add this is $75+gst and must be ordered with your date experience.

Will you offer these for purchase any other time?
This promotion will be an annual event every February - but outside of February, we will not be offering them for purchase.
