🎄 All I Want for Christmas Is a Family to Call My Own 🎄

Meet Angus.
About 2 years old… and still waiting for his forever.

Angus doesn’t ask for much. A warm couch. A gentle hand. A person who will let him curl up beside them and finally feel safe. He is the kind of dog who will spend the whole day pressed against you, content just to be close. A true couch potato, a quiet soul who finds happiness in simple love.

He’s house trained, crate trained, and incredibly trustworthy when left on his own. He gets along beautifully with other dogs and farm animals, but he can’t live with cats.

What Angus wants most isn’t toys or treats — it’s belonging. A family to come home to. A place where Christmas mornings aren’t spent waiting, but loved.

This sweet boy is still hoping for his Christmas miracle.

⛄Hey there! This is Frosty! ⛄

When’s me and my brothers and sisters came into care, the humans said we’d be adopted super quick. They’s were wrong. I’s been here for years, I swears…even if I am only 10 weeks old…it sure feels like weeks.

Sees, I’s the kinda guy who likes to have some funs. And there’s a kind of funs you only gets with your forever family, you know? Like, this foster Mom lady is pretty great – she likes to rub my cheeks together and smooshy up my face and I thinks that’s the bestest. And sometimes she’s even plays with me – but my favourite thing to do? Explore. Yep, I’s like to run all here and there, and all around, and I loves when you try and catch me! But my foster Mom doesn’t haves all the time in the world for that – not like a forever family would.

I’s like to be independent, but I’s also love a good snuggle session on the couch. Let’s sit and watch some Stranger Things, and I’ll makes sure you aren’t scared. You dids know the next episode comes out on the 25th right? You’s gonna need me for that, cuz I’m a brave boy and I’s make you brave too!

I’s also pretty laid back too – like I won’t get all mads at you if you leave me for a few hours, I’s good at takin’ care of myself. But keep me in a crate – that’s what I likes the most when I’m home alone. I’s workin on my potty training and getting real good at it, and also all those manner things. I’s getting real good at those too.

Knows what my most favourite thing to do is though? Naps. Naps are so fun. And I’s do them anywhere – on a cold floor, on a warm floor, on a couch, a bed, your cat’s bed. Any place is meant for nappypoos, and they are even better when yous are with me too!

So anyways, like I said, that big day – December 25th is coming up soon, and I’d really like to be in a place of my very own – not one that I have to deal with my sisters all day (I’s bunkin’ with Cider and Whiskey right now!) I’s really love it if you brought me home with you. What do you say? I’s be at Blue Grass Garden Centre Red Deer on Sunday and it’d be real great if you came and saw me!

🎄24 Days of Christmas🎄

Madame Ladybug isn't just your average cat.
Nope. Not even a little bit.

She was a young Mom, who lived on the streets. She fought for every ounce of food she could find and defended her babies like her life depended on it.
Because it did.

When she came into care, almost TWO YEARS AGO, she wasn't about to let go of that facade - that strong, tough panther personality...that side eye glare that screamed, "Leave me alone - PEASANT."

Nope.

Ladybug is still the scrapper - if you look at her wrong she'll swing for you - with a big ole paw (but nails in...so maybe she's getting a little softer?) She's not a cat for the weak - not even a little bit.

She's a cat who loves her independence and hates the fact that you might take it away from her. She needs an owner who's tough as nails, has a cold exterior and has hardly any soul - that's her perfect match.

We want to say she's getting soft in care, but we'd be lying. Ladybug is not for the weary. She's the Gloria Steinem of cats. The Ronda Russey of felines.

She takes no crap and she takes no prisoners, and she's about ready to fight her way out of the Roam Room if someone doesn't bring her home quick.

But man, if you think you need a guard dog or something to keep the riffraff out of your house - no need to look any further - this cat can stop a man in his tracks with just a stare...

Once upon a Christmas nap… there was a little pup named Cider, dreaming of a home of her very own.

Wrapped in golden hour light, Cider looks exactly how she’d feel in a forever home — warm, safe, and loved. She’s a pup with quiet curiosity and a hopeful heart, happiest when she can watch the world go by and then curl up for a well-earned nap. Because naps are her favourite!

Cider plays hard and naps even harder. Her idea of perfection includes fun toys, warm floors, soft beds, and a family to snuggle with. She’d love nothing more than a safe place to rest her head and people who will love her forever.

She’s also the kind of pup every home needs — especially the kitchen. Cider listens, watches, supervises snacks, and makes even the simplest moments feel special. Wherever you are, that’s where she wants to be - your constant little furry shadow. From holiday helpers to everyday best friends, she’s ready for it all!!

Whether it's snuggles on the couch, or an outdoor adventure, bounding through the snow, Cider is ready to be a part of a forever family. She’s dreaming of trading foster care for family traditions, holiday photos, laughter, and a lifetime of love.

Somewhere between tug-of-war and nap time, Cider is wishing for one thing this Christmas… a home.

We've told you all about Miss Pixel.

Now in care for over a year, Pixel is living the life in a foster home.
In foster, she truly started to bloom! Pixel went from being a cat who would hide in the cat tree and watch from afar, into a happy, sweet girl who is enthusiastic about giving you love, but totally happy settling in on the couch with you in total chill mode.

A snuggly blanket, a toasty fire and something good on TV is the perfect evening for Pixel - and if there is a friendly dog friend to spend that time with as well - this girl is happy as can be!

Pixel is about 5 years old, is super clean and is the ultimate spider catcher! She still loves to play with toys, is a tad quirky and isn't very vocal. She truly is the best of both worlds: calm, cuddly and just the right amount of quirky that'll have your friends commenting on how cool your cat is!
