Look who’s back! Everyone's favorite big pup is growing right before our eyes, and she’s already mastered the art of the perfect head tilt. 😍

It feels like just yesterday she was a tiny pup, but at 19 weeks old, Rosa is officially weighing in at a whopping 18.2 kg! She is growing by leaps and bounds, and her sweet personality is getting bigger every single day.

Whether she’s trying to decode exactly what we’re saying or she’s just perfecting her "give me a treat" look, she continues to absolutely melt our hearts every time she walks through our doors!

Let’s be honest, our feline friends didn't need a designated calendar day to take over—they already rule our hearts, our beds, our keyboards, and every single cardboard box that enters the house. We just live in their world.

🍁 Canada Day Closure Notice 🍁

In celebration of Canada Day, Paradise Animal Hospital & Wellness Centre will be closed on Wednesday, July 1st. We will resume our regular hours on Thursday, July 2nd at 8:00 AM.

To ensure a happy and safe holiday for your furry family members, please keep a few important things in mind:

◾ Refill Requests: Please make sure your pets have all the food, supplements, and regular medications they need to get through the closure.

◾ Beating the Fireworks Anxiety: Canada Day can be loud! If your pet needs calming medications or supplements to help them get through the fireworks and festivities, please call us as soon as possible. We want to ensure we can prepare their medications ahead of time so your pet can stay well-rested and stress-free.

📞 Need help while we are closed?
You can still reach us! If you have an emergency while we are shut down, please call our main line at (709) 782-1107. Your call will be automatically directed to our trusted triage team, who will help guide you on the next steps for your pet's care.

We are conducting our big summer inventory this Friday, June 26th! To ensure your furry family members don’t run out of their essentials, please take note of our temporary pickup adjustments:

📋 FOOD & PRESCRIPTION PICKUPS:

Deadline: Please pick up all food, treats, and medication refills by Thursday, June 25th.

Can’t make it by Thursday? Give us a call to PREPAY before Friday, and we will hold your items for you to grab once inventory is complete!

🏥 WE ARE STILL OPEN FOR CARE ON FRIDAY!
Don't worry—our medical team is still here for your pets. Normal clinical operations will continue as scheduled on Friday, June 26th, including:

🐾 Scheduled Surgeries

🏃‍♂️ Walk-In Clinic: Open from 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
