Meet Poet!

We’ve been keeping this boy under wraps until he grew up a little. He was a bit of an ugly duckling for a while. I think he is going to be worth the wait though!!!

Bubbles is one lucky baby! Thank you everyone for showing so much love for her!
We are happy to say she has found her family ❤️

Due to very unfortunate circumstances, Bubbles finds herself looking for her special family.
DOB Aug Aug 7/2025, this puppy is an absolute doll!! Bubles is super outgoing, great with kids, cats and large dogs, has been on socialization outings since 7 weeks, and has UTD on her vaccination schedule.

Today warmed my heart so much!
Today the puppies had their first day of Kindergarden!!!!
Sarah and Kyle took all 4 of the puppies from the Bunny X Noah litter to visit Charlie’s Kindergarden class. All the puppies were so good with the children, and the children were incredibly well behaved.
Elton, in typical Elton fashion, brought the energy and broke the ice. He was the life of the party!! He made sure every child had clean faces and warmed up the crowd for the girls!
Kit, played it a bit more cool and lower keyed. More methodical with her approach and shared her calming energy with all
Esther (Bubbles), showed them all her sweet side, but paid special attention to the children who needed extra lap time and seemed to have a very strong intuition to each child’s emotional state.
Scarlett, being the Queen that she is, expended very little energy and insisted that she just get passed from lap to lap and she was there for all the snuggles😂!
The children learned about English Toy Spaniels. How to approach a dog, what dogs need to feel safe and happy and how to be a good dog owner.
A huge shout out to Osgoode Public School for their forward thinking and appreciating the importance of early educating children in pet parenting.

What’s in your home that could be harming your dog???

I want to share a story about a dog I placed with one of the best guardian homes going.

A couple of years ago, we placed a healthy two year old English Toy Spaniel female with a wonderful family who already had two of our Brussels Griffons. They had just moved to their retirement home in the country and the dogs were loving it. Not long after the move, I got word that the ETS had a seizure! I was gutted to hear this as she was to be part of my breeding program. I also learned that the elderly Griff had been having seizures for a few years and was on meds to control them. To me, this was super weird neither breed are prone to seizures. I researched the ETS line, spoke with the breeders behind her pedigree, and everyone agreed that this was very odd. Epilepsy is not something we worry about in ETS. I have bred Griffs since ‘99 and this was a first. Two dogs in one house hold triggered alarm bells!!! To me, there was something external causing this. They held off on medicating the ETS and together we looked at their dogs environment. Both were on a limited shot schedule, no heart worm meds, were on a great food and supplements, so to me, that wasn’t the issue.

Next we looked at house hold cleaners. I was assured that everything was “Green”. They shared the floor cleaner that they had been using for years. Right on the label it said “BIO”. Seeing that, you would feel good about using it with small pets. The product was Hertel Biodegradeable. I had tried Hertel years ago and I remember the chemical smell from it almost burnt my nose. But this said “Biodegradeable”…
I decided to research the product. It took some digging. The company had buried the info. What I found were the words “caustic”, “may cause”, “not safe for…”.
By adding that one word to the product label, people were fooled into thinking they were doing the right thing.

We discussed cleaning options and household products that I had used in our home and kennel since the early ‘90’s that were derived from PLANTS🌱, and I TRUSTED with my dogs and children 100%.
This wonderful family trusted me and made the switch to all plant based products and guess what?

NO MORE SEIZURES!!!

Our dogs have skin to floor contact constantly. Skin is the largest organ in our body and a paw pad is not a barrier for harmful chemicals. It’s up to us as their guardians to provide a safe environment for them.
