At just one year old, Sesame suffered fractures in both hips — he was struggling to even walk.

Our dedicated veterinarians performed surgery on both hips to help relieve his pain and improve his comfort.

Now in recovery, Sesame is beginning the next stage of his healing journey. To support his recovery, he will receive ongoing physiotherapy to rebuild strength in his hips and will be staying with a loving foster volunteer so he can recover in a quiet space where he can rest comfortably.

At just three months old, Pocco was very sick. He didn't have the energy of a young puppy, he was vomiting and it was clear he desperately needed help.

His symptoms pointed to a problem with his gastrointestinal tract. Our caring veterinarians performed an exploratory surgery to better understand his troubles, and we found that part of Pocco’s intestine had folded into itself, creating a serious blockage. Our veterinarians removed the compromised section of intestine to save his life.

After surgery, he continued his recovery in a loving foster home, where he was finally able to rest, heal and start feeling like a puppy again.

Today, Pocco is safe, healthy and thriving in a home of his own. After everything he went through as such a tiny puppy, he now gets to spend his days exactly where he belongs, surrounded by love, comfort and care from his forever family.

Pocco’s story would not have been possible without the support of our community. Thank you for helping make life-saving care and second chances like this possible.
