☀️ Warmer days are here, and that means it’s time to take extra precautions to keep your pets safe and comfortable!
As temperatures rise, pets can be at risk of heat exhaustion, burned paw pads, and dehydration. A few simple steps can make a big difference:
💧 Always provide fresh, clean water
🌳 Ensure access to shade when outdoors
🚶 Walk during cooler morning or evening hours
🐾 Check pavement temperature before walks
🚗 Never leave your pet unattended in a vehicle
🌡️ Know the signs of heatstroke: excessive panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, or collapse
If you suspect your pet is overheating, move them to a cool area and contact your veterinarian immediately.
Let’s make this a safe and happy summer for all our furry friends! ❤️🐶🐱🐰
