CLOSURE ANNOUNCEMENT: GORHAM ANIMAL HOSPITAL
To our valued clients
Throughout my career as a veterinarian, which has spanned more than 37 years, I have had the privilege of caring for your beloved pets. I am grateful for the trust that you have placed in me and my team and for the opportunity to be a part of your pets’ care. It is with a heavy heart that I announce my retirement and the closure of Gorham Animal Hospital, effective 29 July 2026.
Working with so many families over the past decade at Gorham Animal Hospital has been a truly rewarding experience. I will miss my patients, their parents and the practice of veterinary medicine.
I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to my dedicated staff. Their commitment and hard work alongside me have ensured that we have provided caring and compassionate care. I appreciate the confidence shown including having won both the readers choice best veterinary hospital as well as best veterinarian.
PET MEDICAL RECORDS AND CONTINUED CARE
To ensure uninterrupted medical care for your pets, it is essential that their medical records are sent directly to you or to your chosen veterinary hospital. Please note that a veterinarian who has not examined your pet will not be able to prescribe or renew existing prescriptions.
To obtain a copy of your pet’s medical records, please contact the clinic by email at [email protected] or [email protected] (the latter after July 29).
Again, it has truly been a privilege to have been a part of your pet’s care.
Sincerely,
Dr. Sheri Sime
