Leptospirosis is a disease caused by bacteria carried mainly by rodents and wildlife. Pets can become infected through contact with the urine of infected animals such as raccoons, skunks and rats. Dogs can also contract the disease by swimming in stagnant water or drinking contaminated puddle water. Keep your pet protected - speak to your veterinarian to learn if the leptospirosis vaccine is suitable for your pet. 🩺
