Local anesthetics are incredibly useful tools — and there’s a lot more we can do with them than simply splash them into an incision.

In Nerve Blocks & Regional Anesthesia: Physiology and Clinical Applications, Amanda will review the physiology and mechanisms of action of local anesthetics, compare commonly used agents including lidocaine and bupivacaine, and explore the clinical application of peripheral nerve blocks and regional anesthesia techniques.

A little physiology, a little pharmacology, and a whole lot of practical pain management. 🙌
