Our services and facilities are designed to assist in routine preventive care for young, healthy pets; early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages; and medical and surgical care as necessary during his or her lifetime. We understand the special role your pet plays in your family and would like to become

your partner in your pet's health care. Our goal is to practice medicine and surgery with an emphasis on client education. Our entire healthcare team will provide personal attention to the unique concerns of each individual pet owner.

Veterinary Assistant Appreciation Week: Alex🩷

Last but certainly not least we have, Alex! She has been a part of our team for almost 6 years and in those years she has always offered a helping hand whenever needed and is a constant source of stability and calmness to our clinic. If we ever need something done, we can count on Alex to finish the job effectively and efficiently!

Along with the many duties she has as a VA, Alex also helps out our reception ladies on occasion and takes exceptional care of your pets in the treatment area. With a diligent attitude and delicate care, Alex is a one of a kind veterinary assistant.

When she’s not working she is spending time with her family, fur babies, and even some scaley babies - including snakes!

Veterinary Assistant Appreciation Week: Shayla🧡

It’s been almost two years since Shayla joined our team and she has been a ray of sunshine to work with ever since! She is always there to make a goofy comment just to make you smile, shows immense compassion for all creatures and people, while still going above and beyond in her role as a VA.

Not only is she amazing at all of her regular duties (including endless amounts of laundry and organizing all the ordered inventory for you and your pets) but she is doing all of this while also in school!

Shayla is enrolled in the online Penn Foster Vet Tech Program and will eventually become an RVT! Outside of work she can be found cuddling her two cats Phineas and Phoebe!

Veterinary Assistant Appreciation Week: Mariko🩵

Mariko has been with us for 8 years and has become such a crucial part of our team, we would truly be lost without her. If you’ve stepped inside the clinic you’ve probably been met with her bright smile and contagious laugh at some point!

From organizing all of our inventory with intricate attention to detail, keeping our team sane with candy and treats, to providing the best care and advocating for our patients, Mariko is one in a million.

When she’s not caring for your patients she is spending her time looking after the many pets she has on her property, including dogs, a cat, horses, and ducks!

This week is Veterinary Assistant Appreciation Week!

VA’s are an integral role in every veterinary clinic, but especially to ours! They keep the clinic running through rigorous hard work, intense cleaning, dedicated patient care, and amazing communication skills.

There is truly no one else that could do these roles as well as these ladies and we want to spend the next couple days shouting out our team of lovely assistants!

If you see them around the clinic when stopping by, be sure to give them an extra thank you this week!💕
