We want to share a story that truly shows the power of compassion in our community š Twin Rivers Animal Hospital, Riverside Small Animal Hospital , and Four Paws Food Bank Foundation came together to change the fate of a very sweet border collie puppy named Moon.
Moon was surrendered to Twin Rivers Animal Hospital with a broken leg. His family cared deeply for him, but unfortunately they were not in a position to pursue the surgery and recovery care he urgently needed. Wanting the best for him, they made the incredibly difficult decision to surrender him into our care.
While we were determined to help, this case was beyond what we could provide in-house. Thatās when Riverside Small Animal Hospital stepped in without hesitation. Thanks to their generosity, and the incredible skill of Dr. Sarah Pihowich and the surgical team, this little pup received the surgery he needed to heal and have a second chance at a happy, pain-free life. When he is healed enough, he will be looking for his forever home.
We are truly over the moon with gratitude for Riverside Small Animal Hospital and their kindness. Their willingness to help in a moment like this makes a life-changing difference.
To show our appreciationāand to help ensure they can continue to say āyesā to animals in needāwe are launching a fundraiser to support Riverside and help replenish the resources used for this surgery and help more animals in the future.
If youāre able to contribute, no matter the amount, it would mean so much to usāand to future animals who may need this same lifeline.
Thank you for being part of a community that caresā¤ļø
