Hello! My name is Vern!

My GHS friends suspect I came from a rural environment and it's possible I may not have lived in a home before. I can be a little bit timid at first but will sit on your feet and nudge your hand with my big noggin in no time. I can be silly and playful. I may not have walked on leash before because I'm a bit of a trip-hazard zig-zagging while I explore all the cool smells. I would love to join a family that is looking for endless snuggles.

Our in-person, same day cat adoption hours are happening TODAY! ❤️🐱

Come and visit Pringle, Hal, Clamato and all of their cat friends at our adoption centre located at 190 Hanlon Creek Blvd in Guelph! Come visit us and meet cats and kittens looking for their new families between 11:00 am to 2:00 pm and chat with our adoptions team about welcoming a new furry family member into your home.

Happy Labour Day Long Weekend Guelph & Wellington County!

The Guelph Humane Society Holiday Hours are as follows:

Sunday, August 31st - 10am - 4pm
Monday, September 1st - CLOSED
Tuesday, September 2nd - 9am - 5pm

Please note our emergency services are operating as normal during our holiday hours. For EMERGENCIES regarding an animal in distress call the Guelph Humane Society at 519-824-3091 immediately. For animals you suspect of being NEGLECTED/ABUSED call the Provincial Animal Welfare Services at 1-833-926-4625.
