Say hello to the Apistogramma agassizii 'Alenquer'. Unlike the common 'Double Red' strain, these stunning dwarf cichlids bring a splash of iridescent blue to the aquarium. Males feature signature black facial webbing and shimmering blue coloration, highlighted by a striking white seam along their fins. Females are more understated in everyday dress but turn a brilliant yellow when they're ready to breed.

Our remaining pair of Nigerian Red Kribs (Pelvicachromis taeniatus) is enjoying the recent drop in barometric pressure and the addition of live and frozen food. A new shipment of plants has arrived today! We received popular genera such as the Rotala, Hygrophila, Echinodorus (sword), Anubia, Cryptocoryne, and Homalomena. Additionally, we obtained a few less common species, including the Isoetes velata var. Sicula and Ludwigia inclinata 'Cuba White Edge.'
