Fredericton Pony Club

Fredericton Pony Club We are a branch of the NB-PEI Region of the Canadian Pony Club - we teach children about horses and their care, safety, handling, and more!

The Fredericton Pony Club has a long-standing history in Fredericton - it was re-opened in 2005 after being inactive for 3 years. We offer stable management instruction and horse-related activities to young people aged 6-25 years old. We meet regularly and our members are becoming very capable, educated horse people. You don't need to own a horse or even be taking riding lessons to be a member of FPC - all you need is a love of horses!

What a beautiful afternoon for Pony Club! Today, we did a little spring cleaning of our grooming bags and reviewed the different brushes and how to use them. We also learned about health conditions that affect the Shadow Lane Farm horses, and how to make sure that the horses are treated with the best possible care!

We also welcomed 3 new members! Nève, Violet and Abby 2, we’re so glad to have you as part of the Pony Club family 😊
