👩‍🌾 Announcement time: I’ve gone farming!

As some of you know, I’ve recently moved to Vancouver Island, BC. My search for land to start my dream farming project has ended.

Thanks to the generosity of my new farm host Kyla Landers at and our land agreement facilitator, Ari Westhaver , my dream is becoming a realty!

If you haven’t heard of Young Agrarians and you’re interested in small-scale farming, permaculture or just finding farms that provide clean and healthy food in your community, please give them a follow! They are doing important work - supporting small-scale regenerative farming projects in Canada.

Westhaven, is a beautiful lavender & herb farm situated in the farmlands of the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island, BC, Canada. Kyla has a wide variety of farm-direct offerings including chemical-free seasonal produce, culinary & medicinal herbs and essential oils. It’s the perfect partnership with the two of us sharing so many common interests including animals, herbs and chemical-free farming. I’m beyond grateful to be sharing this beautiful space with Kyla and can’t wait to get started. We’re quietly working away to wake the farm up for the 2026 season.

🩷 This little company started 10 years ago as a fundraising project for my equestrian dreams. Since then, its trajectory and purpose has taken a few twists and turns with a brand new chapter ahead.

📜 Our purpose is simple: To provide Canadian-made chemical-free grooming and care products for companion animals and their humans!

🌸🐝 Our philosophy: Providing chemical-free products that don’t harm you, your pets or the environment.

🗞️ Big New from Equus Soap Co.! 🗞️

We’ve made a big move to Vancouver Island! In the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing about how we’ll be restructuring the Equus pet, human and horse lines to make them even more special than they are.

🌟 Some major changes include:

🌸 We have moved to a beautiful herb farm in the Comox Valley where we have access to farm-direct herbs and essential oils! This means some positive changes to our ingredients. We now have the ability to create products using farm-direct ingredients!

😍 A sensational new work space which will allow us to build our product line, keep and produce more inventory and create new products! I’ll be popping on livestreams to show you what I’m up to once we are totally set up!

🐶🐴 Our pet and equine lines will also feature more farm-direct ingredients.
