WATTIE NEEDS A LITTLE HELP 💙

Our sweet Wattie has been peeing and drinking more than normal, so of course we wanted to make sure nothing was going on.

We’ve already had X-rays done, and yesterday we had a urinalysis completed. His urine came back more dilute than it should be, so our vet is recommending bloodwork as the next step to try to figure out what’s causing it.

Unfortunately, diagnostics add up FAST. His bloodwork will be approximately $300, on top of the X-rays and testing we’ve already covered.

We want to make sure Wattie gets everything he needs before heading off to his forever home, but his adoption fee won’t come close to covering everything we’ve already put into his veterinary care.

If anyone can spare even $5, $10 or $20 toward Wattie’s bloodwork, it would be incredibly appreciated. Every little bit genuinely helps a small rescue like ours keep saying yes to dogs who need us.

We need a transport volunteer to help get this beautiful girl(doudoun, poo poo, nixie, sweet pea, what ever name you life best) from the Montreal area to Belleville, Ontario anytime after Thursday!

She has an adoptive family waiting for her — we just need to get her there. ❤️

🐾 CALGARY AND AREA BOARDING PARTNER WANTED 🐾

SOS Bull Terriers Canada / K2 Rescue Canada is looking to connect with an experienced boarding facility or professional in-home care provider in the Calgary area interested in partnering with our rescue.

We occasionally require reliable short-term boarding or on-site care for dogs within our rescue and sanctuary program and would love to establish an ongoing relationship with someone we can trust.

We are looking for:

• Positive reinforcement-based handling and training only — no aversive tools or methods
• Experience with Bull Terriers/Rottweilers is a must
• Confidence and experience with large breeds
• Ability to safely manage dogs individually when required
• Experience with rescue dogs, behavioural needs, decompression and structured environments
• A secure, reliable and professionally managed service

As a nonprofit rescue, we are hoping to establish a partnership with a provider willing to offer a discounted rescue rate and, where possible, donated services.

This would be occasional/as-needed care rather than regular boarding.

If you operate a boarding facility, professional in-home care service, or know someone who may be a great fit, we’d love to connect.

We are reaching out to businesses, organizations and individuals across Quebec, Ontario and Alberta who may be interested in supporting the dogs in our care.

We are a registered Alberta non-profit, volunteer-run rescue with foster homes and volunteers across Canada. As we continue to take in dogs needing foster care, medical treatment and new homes, we are looking to build relationships with businesses and organizations that want to help.

We are currently looking for:

🐶 Dog food donations or ongoing food sponsors

🏠 Crates, beds and other foster supplies

🚨 EMERGENCY FOSTER NEEDED – SOUTH SHORE / MONTREAL AREA 🚨

We urgently need an experienced foster placement for a male Bull Terrier in the South Shore/Montreal area.

Westley needs a quiet, structured home where he can decompress and be safely managed while we reassess his needs and determine his next steps.

Requirements:

• NO other animals in the home
• NO small children
• Bull Terrier or strong-breed experience strongly preferred
• Must be comfortable with crate-and-rotate/safe management if necessary
• Secure home and yard
• Must follow all rescue handling and safety instructions
• Foster must be located in or reasonably close to the South Shore/Montreal area

Westley is dog selective and needs someone who understands that management and boundaries are extremely important. This is not a dog-park or social-dog placement.

Food, veterinary care and rescue support will be provided.

🎉 HE MADE IT. BRODY FOUND HIS FOREVER PEOPLE. ❤️

Some adoptions hit a little differently… and this is one of them.

Brody was born in rescue. Rescue was supposed to mean safety, but instead, he was abused by a rescuer — someone who was supposed to protect him. From there, he spent far too much of his life moving from rescue to rescue, waiting for someone to finally see past everything he’d been through and recognize the dog underneath it all.

And he waited. And waited.

Brody has spent his whole life waiting for someone to see his potential.

Despite everything, underneath that history has always been a funny, loving, incredibly special dog who just needed someone willing to give him a real shot.

And finally, his people came. ❤️

Brody has officially found his forever home — and he even got himself a brand-new sister. 🐾

No more moving from place to place.
No more wondering where he belongs.
No more waiting to be chosen.

This time, Brody gets to stay.

To his new family: thank you for seeing him. Thank you for giving him the chance he has waited his entire life for.

Have the absolute best life, Brody.

🎉 Update on Wattie!! 🌟

He is thriving in his foster home in Calgary, learning all new things and all difference dogs and humans! He’s healing up amazingly that our vet couldn’t see a fracture in his xrays 🩻

He is still available for adoption! We want to have his home match his energy. Calm and collected 🧡
