As a groomer this Is what i practice with every dog i have the pleasure of grooming 🐾 sometimes grooms wont look perfect.

Most people never see the quiet moments when a groomer chooses safety over finishing the haircut.

Sometimes a dog is too overwhelmed to continue and pushing through doesn’t actually “get the job done”. It just creates fear. It turns grooming into something they feel they have to fight or endure.

Dogs communicate long before they escalate. They show us when their nervous system is overstimulated. They let us know they need a break.

Our job is to listen.

Stopping grooming isn’t being dramatic.
It’s not giving up.
It’s preventing panic.
It’s protecting trust.
It’s choosing to steady progress instead of pushing for the perfect finish.

A call pause today can set a dog up for a more cooperative tomorrow.

Being a fear free groomer is respecting your dogs limits when they are with me. Knowing that overtime we are building trust together.

I added a couple extra days for grooming Christmas week so i will have December 22/23 open
