Biggee was found pregnant, wet, cold and hungry, a homeless young dog in a community with many homeless dogs and EMT's trying to feed them all. She was fortunate and got rescued and has since had her puppies so we are looking for a foster for her and puppies, hopefully, two together. The puppies are six weeks old and on our website available for adoption. Husky/Shepherd cuties raised in loving home in Cochrane.

MEET SIMON💕. He is a small 12 lb. 3 year old chihuahua looking for a warm, safe, quiet place. He was pulled from a crowded noisy shelter that is scary for a little guy like him. He was found homeless and had never had anyone care or love him. Needs TLC, someone who understands he needs time to learn to trust who will hold him, hand feed, cuddle, offer warm place, take for walks when weather warms up. He likes to stay in a cat bed for security. He's quiet and still very shy.

Highly doubt this is anyones dog. Likely born and managed to survive, then had puppies, which have puppies....Anyway, if this is your dog get in touch and info on why not feeding and caring for your pet since we won't feel comfortable letting her go to a home that doesn't take better care. Currently now in a warm and loving foster home and needing another to go to soon. If can foster please let us know.

Update on the dog we thought killed on Morley Road that looks ike him, is alive and well and picked up shivering outside only 500 yards from the one that didn't make it and next to Highways. After received a plea for help Julia knew the cold was far too cold for even the heartiest of dogs and went and got him. Thank you Julia!!

He was so happy with the comfy bed she gave him. He would not leave it, perhaps because afraid to walk on the floor, fearful of the wood surface and stayed only on the rug.

Our Story

Focusing on rescuing homeless dogs and cats from harsh environments and overcrowded shelters, rehabilitate them and match to adopter's and pets needs. We also try our best to educate about animal welfare. One of the best ways to educate is through the importance of spay and neuter.

We are moving forward, after 20 years of rescue in Alberta, to fundraise for an official rescue rehab adoption center. It’s badly needed since many dogs can often be rescued from homelessness with the help of the First Nations communities in Canada, and we need a place for these dogs to go when they first arrive.
