Some cats arrive in your life under heartbreaking circumstances—and somehow remain completely convinced that people are wonderful.

Ginger is one of those cats.

This petite 5–6 lb orange tabby girl was abandoned, but thankfully a kind person noticed her, stepped in, and made sure she received the veterinary care she needed.

And what did Ginger do at the vet?

She purred. 🥹

Despite everything she's been through, Ginger is still an affectionate, trusting little sweetheart who wants nothing more complicated than to be safe, loved, and treasured.

🧡 TINY DECLAWED ORANGE TABBY CAT FOR ADOPTION NEAR ATLANTA, GA — MEET GINGER 🧡

She had a home. She lost everything. And somehow, Ginger never stopped loving people.

Ginger is a beautiful 6-year-old orange and white tabby cat in Smyrna, Georgia, just outside Atlanta, who desperately needs the happy ending she deserves.

This incredibly affectionate little girl was once an indoor family cat. Sadly, when her family moved away, Ginger was left behind outside — even though she had been declawed on her front paws.

Thankfully, a compassionate Good Samaritan found her and stepped in to help. Ginger has since been examined by a veterinarian, vaccinated and blood tested, and is healthy and ready for a loving new home.

And Ginger's trip to the vet tells you almost everything you need to know about her personality. ❤️

She purred through her shots, blood draw and even her ear cleaning! The veterinary staff fell completely in love with her.
