THANK YOU, AUGUST EXHIBITORS!

As we wrap up the August RR&More Virtual Show, we want to take a moment to recognize every competitor who stepped up, entered, recorded their rides, and put themselves and their horses out there to be judged.

That deserves recognition.

Entering a show — even a virtual one — takes a little courage.
You’re putting your ride in front of a judge and opening yourself up to a score, feedback, and sometimes seeing things on video that you didn’t realize were happening in the moment.
Some rides went exactly as planned.
Some had great moments mixed with a few mistakes.
And some probably left you thinking, “I know we can do that
better!”

That’s all part of showing.

One thing we hope every RR&More exhibitor remembers is that your score doesn’t define your potential.

At RR&More, your ride is judged against a standard, not against the number of horses in your class. A good maneuver earns credit.
A mistake costs points. Whether there is one horse in your class or ten, the standard remains the same.

That’s also why we encourage you to keep your scorecards and really look at them.
Where did you earn credit?
Where did you lose points?
Were there mistakes you can easily correct next time?
What improved from your last ride?
Placings tell you how you finished today.
Scores tell you how your ride measured against the standard.
Progress tells you where you can go from here.

Most importantly, give yourself some credit for stepping up and doing it.
You entered.
You practised.
You recorded the ride.
You submitted it.
You let someone evaluate your work.
And now you have something concrete you can use to make the next ride even better.

To all of our August competitors: thank you for supporting the RR&More Virtual Show Series and for trusting us with your rides.

Congratulations on your accomplishments, your improvements, your placings — and simply having the courage to give it a try.
We hope you’re proud of what you and your horse accomplished.

Dream Big.
Measure Small.
Celebrate Often.

We are looking forward to the RR&More September VSS, with Judge Jodie Moore. We hope you'll join us and for some of you that have been thinking about showing, this is the last show of the season.

OVERALL HI POINT AMATEUR — AUGUST 2026

Congratulations to our August Overall Hi Point Amateur Champion — LeAnne Cheswick & Perla fra Icelandic Meadows!

To qualify for Overall Hi Point, exhibitors must compete in at least three eligible classes within their division and level.

Ranch Conformation and the Ranch Trail Stakes do not count toward Overall Hi Point, making this award a reflection of consistency across multiple regular classes.

LeAnne and Perla put together a great show, earning the points needed to take the Overall Hi Point Amateur title for August!
LeAnne will also receive $25, generously sponsored by our own Lindsay Grant of Highview Ranch.

A big thank you to Lindsay for supporting our exhibitors and adding a little something extra to this month's award!

JUDGE’S CHOICE — AUGUST 2026
Congratulations to our August Judge’s Choice — Gail Molsberry & Chaz Whiz!
Gail and Chaz had some great rides throughout the August show, and they certainly caught the eye of our judge, Lillian Evaniew-Phelan.
Lillian described Gail and Chaz as “an awesome team and a very cute pair!”
We think so too!
Judge’s Choice is a little different from our other awards. It isn’t simply about who earned the highest score — it gives our judge the opportunity to recognize a horse and rider combination that stood out to them during the show.
Congratulations, Gail & Chaz Whiz, on being Lillian’s August Judge’s Choice!
And thank you again to Lillian Evaniew-Phelan for judging our August Virtual Show and for all the thoughtful feedback she provided to our exhibitors.
