🐾 PREVENTION SAVES LIVES. 🐾

Funds for Furry Friends Animal Rescue is once again partnering with Manitoba Animal Alliance and Waywayseecappo First Nation for our annual Spay & Neuter Clinic, September 11–13, 2026.

This clinic is about more than spaying and neutering. It’s about preventing suffering before it happens.

🐶 Spay & neuter prevents unwanted litters and helps reduce the number of animals who end up homeless or in rescue.

💉 Vaccines help protect individual pets and the community from preventable disease outbreaks.

🐾 Together, these services mean fewer unwanted animals, fewer preventable illnesses, and less suffering.

We’re looking for sponsors to help provide this care at a greatly reduced cost:

$125 — sponsor a dog
$80 — sponsor a cat

Each sponsorship includes spay/neuter, vaccines and food.

Whitecloud’s first year was a lot…….  At just 1 year old and 22 kgs, Whitecloud arrived as a stray injured, barefoot and pregnant.

She raised 9 babies, had FHO surgery to repair her leg, and somehow remained the sweetest girl through it all.

Now she’s ready for the easy part: being someone’s baby.

Good with kids, submissive with dogs, seemingly unbothered by cats, and has a great recall.

She’s done her time being a mama. Now it’s Whitecloud’s turn to be spoiled.

🐾 Meet Wilma! 🐾

Wilma is a one-year-old pug with a BIG personality packed into a little body! She is friendly, playful, affectionate, and always ready to be part of whatever is going on.

Wilma is currently fostered in a busy home with two small dogs and kids ages 11 and 13, and she fits right in. She loves people, enjoys playing with her canine foster siblings, and is an all-around happy, social little dog.

She’s also doing wonderfully with her routines. Wilma sleeps comfortably in her kennel overnight, eats with gusto (she is a pug, after all!), and her outdoor bathroom training is about 99% there. She simply needs a home that will continue giving her the consistency she’s used to.

And don’t let those little pug legs fool you, Wilma can motor! She walks beautifully on leash and happily cruises through her regular 30-minute walks.

Wilma is a genuinely great little dog: funny, confident, loving, playful, and absolutely full of character. She’d make a fantastic addition to a family looking for a companion who will keep them smiling.

Wilma is ready to find her people, and bring the with her. ❤️🐾

A little sneak peek at Barnaby!

Barnaby is an absolute sweetheart who is new to rescue. He is a 3.5 years old. He came to us needing eye surgery, which he’ll be having today along with his neuter. Once he’s recovered, he’ll be ready to find his forever family.

He has been wonderful with the cats, walks slow and easy, and is incredibly friendly. He rides in the car like a dream and can be trusted loose in the house.

Barnaby is one very good boy, and we can’t wait to see him find the loving home he deserves!

MEET FLAPJACK! 🥞

And yes… THOSE ARE HIS REAL EARS. We promise there was no AI photoshop involved.

This little spitfire came into rescue with an old injury to his lower jaw where his lip had been degloved from his gums. Thankfully, we have some pretty talented vets on our team who worked their magic and got him looking almost as good as new. ❤️

Because of the damage to his mouth, we aren’t quite sure of his exact age or how big he will get, but estimate him to be around 4 months old and he’s currently 10 lbs.

Collie? Sheltie? Corgi? Some questionable combination of all three? 🤷‍♀️ Your guess is as good as ours! Whatever he is, he has a BIG personality to match that adorable face and those spectacular ears.

Flapjack is:
🐾 Kennel trained
🐾 Working hard on house training
🐾 Learning to walk on leash
🐾 Good with kids, cats & dogs
🐾 Spunky, sassy and FULL of pep!

He’s basically a tiny package of chaos, ears and personality, and we’re pretty sure he’s going to keep everyone around him entertained.

If you’re looking for a fun, active little pup with enough personality for three dogs, Flapjack might just be your guy!
