Today we mourn the loss of an outstanding member of the equestrian world.
Dianna was the pinnacle of the Westman eventing community and many of our riders had their first eventing experience at Dianna’s beautiful facility.
She was an active leader in Pony club and was adored for her playful spirit and contagious laughter.
Our thoughts and love go out to her family during this tough time.

We had a blast with the Pony Adventure camp last week!
9 Participants came to hang out with us and our horses.. well, lets be honest. Mostly the horses!!

Camp season has come to an end.
Next up are fall lessons!

A little behind on posting but our Eventing Camp was a success! Campers learned about dressage, stadium jumping and cross country. There was also learning about care of your horse, such as poultice, bandaging, turnout, warm ups and cool downs and much much more. Friday was eventing day and everyone got to do each of the dressage, stadium and cross country. They even learned how to mark a dressage test! Everyone had fun and learned lots. Thank you Sarah Read (coach) and Lavi for all the work you put in.

At our jump camp each group had to make a jump board. The groups all had different requirements based on their experience. This is video of the expert pony jumping each course.

Jump camp has been done for a week but did we have FUN!! Flat work, grids and jumping were the riding portion of camp. Other amazing things we did were making jump boards, learning about balance and how important it is for jumping and how to fall correctly. We had a great group of kids and loved working with them.
