✨WELCOME DR. MELISSA MCGRATH✨

Dr. Melissa has always had a love of animals stemming from her childhood growing up with pets of her own.

As a high school student, she volunteered at the Maritime Reptile Zoo for 2 years. Following high school, she moved to PEI to attend undergraduate studies in biology. Dr. Melissa then became a part of the pre-vet program whilst studying at UPEI, which allowed her to gain some experience alongside vet students at the Atlantic Veterinary College, before becoming a vet student herself. Dr. Melissa obtained her degree from the Atlantic Veterinary College in 2022 and moved back to Nova Scotia to begin her career.

Her love for behavioral medicine blossomed in vet school, and she looks forward to continuing her learning in this area of interest. Dr. Melissa is dedicated to her clientele and patients, and loves working collaboratively with clients to provide the best possible care for their pets.

Outside of work she enjoys gardening, paddleboarding, playing video games, and spending time with friends, family, and her 3 cats Remus, Minerva, and Quentin!
