With the warm weather upon us, we wanted to remind our clients of pet summer safety during this August heatwave! 🏖️🐾

1. Keeping water readily available at all times!💧
Keeping hydrated is the key! Always making sure that the water bowl is full around the house, and during outside activities!

2. Avoid leaving pets unattended in vehicles! 🚗
Did you know that a car can heat up by 11°C in just 10 minutes? Hot vehicles are an extreme danger for pets, even on a mildly warm day, or with windows cracked.

3. Be mindful of warm pavement during walks! 🛣️☀️
Summer pavement can easily retain heat during a hot day, be mindful of bare paws during regular walks. Hot pavement can lead to painful burns on paw pads!
