Susie visited Dr Tom today for her annual vaccination and received her special treat pack, including a month's supply of flea, tick, heartworm and intestinal worm prevention. 🎉

Did you know that every vaccination appointment includes a thorough nose to tail health check? Our vets assess your pet's overall health, including their teeth, coat, eyes, ears and joints... from the tip of their nose to the tip of their tail!

Annual health checks are an important part of keeping our pets happy and healthy throughout their lives.

Well done, Susie, for being such a superstar patient today! 🐾

Sweet Maverick 🐾✨

Another gorgeous puppy we’ve recently seen for their very first vet visit 💛

We absolutely LOVE capturing these moments, there’s nothing better than looking back on those tiny puppy faces as they grow 🐶➡️🐕

We take these photos to share with you as a keepsake, and sometimes (with your permission) we feature them on our socials too 📸

If you’d like your puppy to have their moment, feel free to pop in and our friendly reception team will happily help snap a photo for you 😊

Not every pet loves visiting the vet clinic… and that’s okay 💜

For some of our patients, a hospital stay can feel a little scary and overwhelming, especially when they’re in for surgery. That’s why our nurses do everything they can to help them feel safe, calm and comfortable while they’re with us.

Whether it’s sitting on the floor for cuddles, wrapping them up in warm blankets, offering gentle reassurance, hand feeding treats, or simply staying close by, these little moments can make a big difference 🐾

Yogi needed some extra TLC during his stay, so Liv and Yasmin made sure he felt as supported and loved as possible while he recovered.

This kind of care isn’t “above and beyond” to us, it’s simply the standard of care we believe every pet deserves 💕

BEFORE➡️AFTER 👀 (plus bonus pic of the happiest boy at the end)

Louie presented a couple of weeks ago with an angry, inflamed blue eye. Dr Alice performed a fluorescein stain which showed a small ulcer on the eye. His eye pressures were also checked to rule out conditions such as glaucoma. His tear production was checked and found to be low, leading to the diagnosis of keratoconjunctivitis sicca (Dry eye).

Dry eye is a relatively common (often immune mediated) condition in dogs which causes the destruction of tear producing glands. As a result the cornea of the eye can dry out making it vulnerable to ulceration/damage and inflammation (keratitis). In louie’s case this lead to corneal oedema, creating the blue appearance to his eye.

After starting on medication, Louie and his dedicated owner presented a week later for a recheck (second photo). We were delighted to see the improvement

Eyes are such sensitive organs. If your pet is showing signs of eye discharge, redness or discomfort it is important that it be checked immediately.

An unlikely friendship was formed at the clinic today 🐐🐱

Clinic owner Dr Kate brought in her baby goat, who she is currently hand-raising, and we thought we’d introduce him to the stray kitten we recently found a loving home for.

After a couple of minutes spent staring in complete confusion and trying to figure out exactly what he was looking at, the kitten decided this strange little creature might actually be a friend. From there, the two were inseparable,
sniffing noses, following each other around, and causing plenty of smiles for everyone at the clinic.

Proof that friendships can appear in the most unexpected places 💛

Frankie was putting on quite the performance for Dr Alice recently.

Showing off her best trick and politely requesting treats like the good girl she is. Safe to say she absolutely nailed it.

Who would say no to that face?! 💙
