Meet Kai – the cheeky heart-stealer! 🐾

Kai was found dumped in a box on a doorstep – cold, confused, and alone. But how could anyone say no to this little face?

Thankfully, a kind member of the public brought him to us, and this sweet boy has been soaking up love ever since. He spent his first few days in care getting spoiled by our nurses and quickly made himself right at home.

Kai is full of personality – a perfect mix of sweet, cheeky, and playful. He’s confident, curious, and has had no issues sharing space with other cats and even dogs!

Now he’s ready to find a forever home that will treasure him the way he deserves. Could that be you?

⚠️Canine leptospirosis alert for Illawarra and Shoalhaven. This serious bacterial disease can cause vomiting, diarrhoea and lethargy in dogs and can be fatal if left undiagnosed and untreated. If you live in these affected areas, then please speak to your local vet who will be able to advise you regarding vaccination for your dog. Please keep an eye on your dog and if they show these symptoms, then please call your local vet or nearest pet emergency hospital immediately.

Four dogs have died from canine leptospirosis, with two confirmed in the Southern Highlands and Shoalhaven.

The serious bacterial disease is spread by rats and contaminated water and can cause liver and kidney failure.

Some of the symptoms include vomiting or diarrhea and lethargy.

Dog owners in the Southern Highlands and South coast are being urged to have their pets vaccinated and to avoid letting them drink or swim in stagnant water.

Chilli is FIV positive, which means she needs to be an indoor-only cat. She can be your one-and-only royal companion or live with another cat who is vaccinated against FIV or has FIV

Say hello to Bentley Dennis! 🐶💙

This handsome little heartbreaker had his very first vet visit today — and let’s just say… the clinic staff are now officially obsessed. 😍

With those puppy-dog eyes and charming little face, Bentley had Dr Nicole wrapped around his paw in seconds! He passed his check-up with flying colours and took his vaccination like a total pro. 🩺✨

But here’s the million-dollar question…

😺 Meet Lemon, Cheato & Bronte – Ready for Adoption! 🏡
These three adorable siblings had a rough start to life, but thanks to the incredible care of Nurse Louisa, they’re thriving and now on the lookout for their forever homes 💕

🛻 Found at just 2 weeks old in a car yard, Bronte was brought in first. A few hours later, Lemon and Cheato joined her, and the next day their sibling Cruiz was found (already adopted at our recent adoption day 🎉).

👩‍⚕️ Raising four bottle babies is no small task – especially with two kids of her own! But Nurse Louisa gave them all the love and care they needed to grow into the happy, healthy kittens they are today.

Each one has their own special personality:

🐾 What a Successful Day! 🐾

Our recent cat adoption day was a huge success — we’re thrilled to share that seven of our cats and kittens 🐱 found their forever homes 🏡💖! That’s an incredible achievement and a testament to all the hard work and love poured into the event.

A big thank you to The Dex Effect 🙌 for joining us on the day, and to everyone who stopped by to show support, gave our kitties some love 💕, treats 🍖, and of course — to those who adopted! 🥰

We still have several adorable cats and kittens 🐈 looking for their forever families. You can visit them Monday to Friday, 8am–6pm 🕗.

The kittens were nestled all snug in their beds,

The helpers had finished their kind-hearted task—
Filling goodie bags with treats, toys, and love that will last. 🎁

With jingle bell collars and bows on their fur,
These sweet little souls are ready to purr.
