Our team of 2 full-time veterinarians and 7 veterinary nurses is committed to providing a friendly, caring and professional veterinary service. Making an appointment will help us to minimise your waiting time, and thereby lessen any stress felt by your pet during his/her visit. Walk-in patients are generally seen after scheduled appointments. However, emergency cases are given priority and will be
attended immediately. While we make every effort to keep appointments running on time, complicated or emergency cases can sometimes result in delays, and your patience at these times is appreciated. Home and farm visits can also be arranged, and incur an additional travel fee. Please note that in many cases we would prefer to see your pet at the clinic, where we have full access to all staff and equipment. You may want to consider a (non-affiliated) pet taxi service if you are having difficulty transporting your pet. All dogs must be restrained on a leash and all cats (and other pets) restrained in an appropriate carrier prior to entry into the clinic. Leashes and carriers are available for loan/hire if you have not brought your own. The majority of our patient load consists of companion animals – dogs and cats. We also treat a variety of exotic pets (including birds, ferrets, guinea pigs, rats, mice and rabbits), and perform a limited amount of large animal work. Native animals will also be treated before being released to WIRES for rehabilitation. In the event of an emergency outside of our normal opening hours, please phone the Animal Emergency Centre Central Coast (AEC), which can be reached at (02) 4323 3886. The AEC is located at Home Central Shopping Centre, Unit 8a 356 Manns Road, West Gosford NSW 2250. Please note that this is for emergencies only and an after-hours surcharge will apply. We are not open on public holidays.
